Dining in your villa
Enjoy your meals in the privacy of your villa, with dishes prepared specially for you.

Dining at Xanadu
Social foraging in our restaurant, nestled away in your private villa, embracing the romantic beach or carried away to a remote island: the story is yours to be told.

Ganda · Fine dining experience
Ganda, our restaurant and bar, is a central focal point of the property. Around the main pool, guests enjoy a shady lunch or a romantic candlelight dinner under our giant makuti roof.
Special requests for dietary requirements and celebrations are discussed and catered for — flexibility, individuality and exclusivity are part of Xanadu’s cuisine. Selected non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks, local beers and a range of house wines are included; cocktails, premium wines and spirits are available at an extra charge.

Our dining concept
Our skilled kitchen team delivers world-class du jour menus, freshly prepared, combining well-established culinary practice with the freshest produce available.
Our multinational team of international and local chefs — Tanzanian, South African and Kenyan — combine their skills and influences with the freshest, locally sourced ingredients for a tailor-made dining experience.
Food & ingredient philosophy
How better to ensure good, fresh and healthy meals than by growing our own produce? No insecticides are introduced, and local skills and love of the land grow tomatoes, basil, rocket, pumpkin, mint and parsley, to name but a few.
