Mbingu means Heavenly Sky in Swahili. Our presidential suite, fit for a sultan and his bride, gleams from the beach front, its unique domes, balconies and private pools floating over the palm trees like a mirage.
This two-bedroom, four-tiered palace showcases the best of Xanadu design — spacious living areas opening out to the garden plunge pool, with direct beach access down sandy, flower-lined paths. The first floor houses a bedroom with a waterfall shower, en-suite bathroom, private sea-view balcony and hand-picked objets d’art from Africa and abroad.
Continue up the exterior staircase and the master bedroom awaits: a lofty, organic domed suite that exudes space and wonder. A final tier leads to the very private rooftop pool, housed within a custom dome with views above the palms to the turquoise ocean beyond.
Private cooking presentations or classes can be arranged with our chefs in Mbingu’s kitchen.
